Accessibility
Statement.
Last reviewed: November 1, 2026
XLB Training wants every family to be able to learn about our programs, book an assessment, and reach our staff, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification, or other assistive technology. This statement explains the standard we build to, what we have done, where we still have limits, and how to tell us about a problem.
Our commitment and standard
This website is built and tested to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard most accessibility guidance in the United States points to. We also meet the WCAG 2.2 requirement that keyboard focus is never hidden behind the fixed menu bar. Accessibility is ongoing work, and we review the site whenever pages change.
What we have done
- Readable contrast. Text meets at least a 4.5 to 1 contrast ratio against its background, and large headlines meet at least 3 to 1.
- Clear structure. Every page has one main heading, headings follow a logical order, and pages use standard regions (navigation, main content, footer) so screen reader users can jump between them.
- Skip link. The first press of the Tab key shows a "Skip to main content" link so keyboard users can bypass the menu.
- Full keyboard operation. Every link, button, menu, and question on the site works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline that stays visible on both dark and light sections.
- Accessible mobile menu. The menu button announces whether it is open or closed, keyboard focus moves into the menu when it opens, and the Escape key closes it.
- Accessible questions and answers. Frequently asked questions announce whether they are expanded, and closed answers stay out of the way until opened.
- Text alternatives. Meaningful photos have descriptions. Decorative icons are hidden from screen readers so they do not add noise.
- New tab notices. Links that open in a new tab, such as the app stores and client login, say so to screen reader users.
- Zoom and reflow. Pages work at 400 percent zoom and on screens as narrow as 320 pixels without sideways scrolling.
- Reduced motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, animations and smooth scrolling are turned off.
- Labeled embedded content. Embedded forms and the map carry descriptive titles.
Known limitations and alternatives
A few parts of the site are provided by outside companies. We choose providers carefully, but we do not control their code, and some parts may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. Every one of them has another way to get the same thing done:
- Scheduling, booking, and Client Login (Mindbody). Class schedules, camp registration, online booking, and the Client Login are run by Mindbody. If any part is hard to use, call us at (561) 336-4128 and we will book for you by phone.
- XLB mobile app. The XLB Training app for iOS and Android is provided through Mindbody. Everything in the app can also be done by phone.
- Forms (Player Development Guide sign-up and contact form). These forms are embedded from our form provider. If a form gives you trouble, email [email protected] or call us and we will take care of it directly.
- Map. The map on our Contact page is provided by Google. Our address is also written out in text on every page: 4760 Woolbright Rd, Unit 104, Golf, FL 33436. Selecting the address in the footer opens it in Google Maps.
- Reviews and chat assistant. The Google reviews display and the chat window (an automated assistant) are provided by outside platforms. If either gives you trouble, call us during business hours or email us.
- Social media and app stores. Instagram, Facebook, the App Store, and Google Play are outside websites with their own accessibility policies.

When you write, it helps to include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser, and any assistive technology you were using.
Compatibility
This site is designed to work with current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge on desktop and mobile, and with the VoiceOver (Apple) and NVDA (Windows) screen readers. Older browsers may not display every feature as intended.
How this site is tested
Our web team tests this site with automated accessibility checks (axe-core, against WCAG 2.1 A and AA plus best practices), contrast measurements, keyboard-only walk-throughs of every page, and screen reader spot checks. Pages are re-tested after changes and again once they are live.
